RESEARCH INTERESTS

• Bioactive compounds (antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-cancer, and neuroprotection compounds) from slime molds, bacteria associated with slime molds, and some unusual fungal groups.

• Production of natural-based products: e.g., anti-acnes and sunscreen, functional food/tea for the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases.
